Scuba Diving Signals: Do You Know About Them


Many of you must have been experienced the fun of Scuba Diving. It is needless to mention that it is one of the adventures which people used to do in their vacations. If you decide to go for this activity, you may have to use some signal, or follow the instructions of your buddies which they give through the signals. So, it is necessary for you to have the knowledge about these signals.

Let us discuss about these signal right now, which may be useful for you. First of all, the signal used for “OK” is like normal “OK’. You need to curl your forefinger and touch the end of the thumb. Another necessary signal may be required to indicate if something is wrong. For this, you are needed to keep your palm flat and spread your fingers. Besides, you have to tilt the hand to left and right. If you want to attract the attention of someone and tell him or her to watch you then you should point towards your chest. On the other hand, if you want to say “let’s go up” and “let’s go down”, then you are required to give the thumbs up and down respectively.
